Ball Valves
Ball valves are commonly used in various industries due to their durability, easy operation, & flow control capabilities. They can handle high pressure, high temp & corrosive fluids, making them a reliable choice for oil/gas, water treatment, chemical processing & HVAC systems.
There are several types of ball valves, including:
- Full port ball valves: These valves have a large bore, which allows for maximum flow and minimal pressure drop.
- Reduced port ball valves: These valves have a smaller bore, which reduces the flow rate and increases the pressure drop.
- Three-way ball valves: These valves have three ports and are used to direct flow between two different outlets.
- Four-way ball valves: These valves have four ports and are used to direct flow between three different outlets.
- Trunnion mounted ball valves: These valves have a trunnion design, which allows for higher pressure ratings and increased stability.
- Floating ball valves: These valves have a ball that floats within the valve body, which allows for better control and a tighter seal.
- V-port ball valves: These valves have a V-shaped ball, which allows for better flow control and a tighter seal.
- High performance ball valves: These valves are designed for high-pressure and high-temperature applications and are made of advanced materials such as carbon fibre or ceramic for increased durability.
- Pneumatic Actuated ball valves: These valves are controlled by compressed air/gas, which allows for remote operation and automation.
- Electric Actuated ball valves: These valves are controlled by electricity and allow for remote operation and automation.
