Ultramax Systems supplies the AAS72P as a direct replacement within the Active Air Spares range. It is a Grade P general purpose particulate element and holds bulk solid debris, pipe scale and rust, rated at 3 µm. In service it sits at the front of the train, protecting the finer stages behind it. Catching the coarse load here keeps the coalescing stages from blinding early. The element is built to the original dimensions and needs no modification to the housing. Housings in the ATA72-9 family take this element.
