The AC325A covers the Atlas Copco X Filters range in the Ultramax Systems alternative line. It is a Grade A activated carbon element and adsorbs the oil vapour and hydrocarbon odour that liquid coalescers cannot hold. In service it sits as the final stage before air reaches product, packaging or people. Vapour is what remains once the liquid stages have done their work, and carbon is what holds it. Dimensions follow the original, so it installs into the existing housing without modification. Housings in the QDx325 family take this element.
