Ultramax Systems supplies the AC550+Y as a direct replacement within the Atlas High Pressure range. The element is a Grade Y high efficiency oil removal coalescing element, and strips the fine oil aerosol and water carryover a general purpose stage leaves behind, rated at 0.01 µm. The element belongs directly downstream of a Grade X stage. Air leaving this stage is clean enough for instrument work and for a carbon tower to polish. It matches the original on dimensional fit and drops into the existing housing without modification. Housings in the PDH550+ family take this element. Held in Australian stock, it is supplied at a working budget price rather than OEM list.
