As a Grade XY replacement filter element it holds the contamination its housing is placed to catch, rated at 0.01 µm. The element belongs in the position the original element occupied. Clearing this load first protects the dryer or carbon stage that follows. It matches the original on dimensional fit and drops into the existing housing without modification.
