Description
The Air-Saver is a motorised ball valve with an integral weekly timer, installed downstream of the air receiver to isolate the compressed-air supply outside operating hours. Up to 100 switching points can be distributed across a 1-7 day program, and a FLEX override lets operators open the valve outside the scheduled window. With the line shut, leakage at joints, fittings and tools no longer bleeds pressure overnight and the compressor does not cycle to make up lost air. The valve uses a nickel-plated brass body with a stainless steel ball and a slow-open profile to prevent water hammer.
Features
- Programmable weekly timer, up to 100 switching points
- FLEX manual override and onboard illuminated LCD
- Slow-opening valve characteristic to prevent water hammer
- Nickel-plated brass body with stainless steel ball
- CR2032 battery backup retains program through power loss
- IP54 / NEMA 13 sealed enclosure, 115/230 VAC 50/60 Hz
Applications
- Overnight and weekend isolation of factory air lines
- Holiday shutdowns where the compressor would otherwise idle
- Workshops and assembly cells with predictable operating hours
- Compressed-air energy-saving and demand-reduction programs
- Reducing leak loss in ageing distribution piping
- Isolating zones of a larger compressed-air network on schedule
