Ultramax Systems supplies the BAL4P as a direct replacement within the Balma Elements range. As a Grade P general purpose particulate element it holds bulk solid debris, pipe scale and rust, rated at 5 µm. It sits at the front of the train, protecting the finer stages behind it. Solids stopped at this point never reach the finer elements behind it. Dimensions follow the original, so it installs into the existing housing without modification. It is the element used in FP4 housings. Held in Australian stock, it is supplied at a working budget price rather than OEM list.
