As a Grade GC granulated activated carbon element it adsorbs oil vapour and odour through a packed carbon bed, rated at 0.01 µm. In service it sits as a final polishing stage. It carries the load its position in the train is there to catch. It matches the original on dimensional fit and drops into the existing housing without modification. M030GC housings accept this element. It is held in Australian stock and priced to work against the cost of going direct to the OEM.
