Description
A 63 mm PE100 socket fusion end cap that closes off the end of an UltraAir compressed-air line. Capped ends finish dead legs, close future extension points and blank off branches ahead of later stages of a fit-out, holding full line pressure without a valve or threaded plug. The fitting socket fusion welds to matching UltraAir PE100 pipe. A hand welding tool heats socket and pipe together and the two fuse into a single piece, giving a permanent, leak-tight joint with no threads, seals or clamps to work loose. PE100 resists internal corrosion, so the bore stays smooth and pressure drop stays low for the life of the installation.
