Description
A 40 mm PE100 socket fusion equal tee that takes a full-size branch off an UltraAir compressed-air main. Equal tees split a line where both directions carry similar flow, forming the junctions of ring mains and the take-off points for major branches. The fitting socket fusion welds to matching UltraAir PE100 pipe. A hand welding tool heats socket and pipe together and the two fuse into a single piece, giving a permanent, leak-tight joint with no threads, seals or clamps to work loose. PE100 resists internal corrosion, so the bore stays smooth and pressure drop stays low for the life of the installation.
