The CF018X covers the CompAir CF 2424 IR range in the Ultramax Systems alternative line. It is a Grade X general purpose coalescing element and removes oil aerosol, water and solid particulate from the air stream, rated at 1 µm. It sits as the first coalescing stage, ahead of a dryer or a carbon tower. Taking that load out early keeps the finer stage behind it working to its rated life. Dimensions follow the original, so it installs into the existing housing without modification. Housings in the CE018L3/4E family take this element. Held in Australian stock, it is supplied at a working budget price rather than OEM list.
