The element is a Grade A activated carbon element, and adsorbs the oil vapour and hydrocarbon odour that liquid coalescers cannot hold, rated at 1 µm. It sits as the final stage before air reaches product, packaging or people. It handles the contamination a coalescer passes straight through. Dimensions follow the original, so it installs into the existing housing without modification. Housings in the CF0018ND family take this element.
