Ultramax Systems supplies the CH290Y as a direct replacement within the Chicago Pneumatic New range. It is a Grade Y high efficiency oil removal coalescing element and strips the fine oil aerosol and water carryover a general purpose stage leaves behind, rated at 0.01 µm. In service it sits directly downstream of a Grade X stage. It carries the fine load a general purpose element is not built to hold. The element is built to the original dimensions and needs no modification to the housing. C290 housings accept this element. Held in Australian stock, it is supplied at a working budget price rather than OEM list.
