Ultramax Systems supplies the CHPF2550X as a direct replacement within the Chicago Pneumatic F series range. The element is a Grade X general purpose coalescing element, and removes oil aerosol, water and solid particulate from the air stream, rated at 1 µm. The element belongs as the first coalescing stage, ahead of a dryer or a carbon tower. Taking that load out early keeps the finer stage behind it working to its rated life. The element is built to the original dimensions and needs no modification to the housing. It is the element used in FG2550 housings.
