Within the Domnick Hunter Oil-X P post '95 range, the DH030HC is the Ultramax Systems replacement element. As a Grade HC hopcalite element it converts carbon monoxide to carbon dioxide across a catalytic bed. The element belongs in a breathing air train, downstream of the coalescing and carbon stages. Carbon monoxide is the one contaminant a breathing air train cannot afford to pass. Dimensions follow the original, so it installs into the existing housing without modification. HC0030 housings accept this element. It is held in Australian stock and priced to work against the cost of going direct to the OEM.
