As a Grade GC granulated activated carbon element it adsorbs oil vapour and odour through a packed carbon bed, rated at 0.01 µm. It sits as a final polishing stage. Contamination stopped here does not reach the equipment behind it. Dimensions follow the original, so it installs into the existing housing without modification.
