It is a Grade HC hopcalite element and converts carbon monoxide to carbon dioxide across a catalytic bed. It sits in a breathing air train, downstream of the coalescing and carbon stages. Carbon monoxide is the one contaminant a breathing air train cannot afford to pass. It matches the original on dimensional fit and drops into the existing housing without modification. It is the element used in IP50-HC-0145G housings. Held in Australian stock, it is supplied at a working budget price rather than OEM list.
