As a Grade Y high efficiency oil removal coalescing element it strips the fine oil aerosol and water carryover a general purpose stage leaves behind, rated at 0.01 µm. The element belongs directly downstream of a Grade X stage. It carries the fine load a general purpose element is not built to hold.
