Ultramax Systems supplies the ETH1408HC as a direct replacement within the Ethafilter range. It is a Grade HC hopcalite element and converts carbon monoxide to carbon dioxide across a catalytic bed. In service it sits in a breathing air train, downstream of the coalescing and carbon stages. Carbon monoxide is the one contaminant a breathing air train cannot afford to pass. Dimensions follow the original, so it installs into the existing housing without modification. It is the element used in NEA108HC housings. Stock is held in Australia and supplied at a working budget price against going direct to the OEM.
