Description
The ETH2642Y covers the Ethafilter range in the Ultramax Systems alternative line. The element is a Grade Y high efficiency oil removal coalescing element, and strips the fine oil aerosol and water carryover a general purpose stage leaves behind, rated at 0.01 µm. The element belongs directly downstream of a Grade X stage. Air leaving this stage is clean enough for instrument work and for a carbon tower to polish. Dimensions follow the original, so it installs into the existing housing without modification. It is the element used in NEA242SMA housings. It is held in Australian stock and priced to work against the cost of going direct to the OEM.
