As a Grade P25 general purpose particulate element it holds bulk solid debris and pipe scale, rated at 25 µm. The element belongs as the first line of protection in the train. Catching the coarse load here keeps the coalescing stages from blinding early. The element is built to the original dimensions and needs no modification to the housing.
