Description
Within the FST Filter Elements range, the FST185Y is the Ultramax Systems replacement element. The element is a Grade Y high efficiency oil removal coalescing element, and strips the fine oil aerosol and water carryover a general purpose stage leaves behind, rated at 0.01 µm. It sits directly downstream of a Grade X stage. Air leaving this stage is clean enough for instrument work and for a carbon tower to polish. The element is built to the original dimensions and needs no modification to the housing. Housings in the FCA185XN family take this element. It is held in Australian stock and priced to work against the cost of going direct to the OEM.
