Description
The G40WS sits at the small-bore end of the Ultramax Systems G Series Twister Dryer Turbo range, carrying a 3/8 inch port between the 1/4 inch G25WS and the 1/2 inch G100WS. An internal spinner sets the incoming air rotating, and the centrifugal force throws liquid water and condensate onto the separator wall, where it runs down into the sump and discharges through the automatic float drain. The housing is machined from zero porosity aluminium and powder coated inside and out, and it operates to 20 bar across a 1.5 to 80 degree C range. Fit the unit downstream of the aftercooler or air receiver so that bulk water is taken out ahead of the coalescing and activated carbon stages, which protects downstream tools and instrumentation from corrosion.
Features
- Automatic float drain valve fitted as standard
- Zero porosity aluminium housing, powder coated inside and out
- Centrifugal separation removes up to 99% of water aerosol in compressed air
- 3/8 inch port, suiting small-bore branch lines and point-of-use assemblies
- Rated to 20 bar working pressure, 1.5 to 80 degree C operating range
- Shares the G Series body, so brackets and drain options carry across the range
Applications
- Protects point-of-use tooling on small-bore compressed air branch lines
- Takes bulk water out ahead of coalescing and activated carbon filter stages
- Automotive workshops running air tools from a reticulated ring main
- Laboratory and instrument air supplies where liquid carryover is unacceptable
- Spray painting and finishing lines that need water-free air at the gun
- Breathing air and diving filtration sets built on the G40 body
