The GDF0220XO covers the Gardner Denver GDE GDF IR 2424 range in the Ultramax Systems alternative line. As a Grade XO general purpose coalescing element it removes oil aerosol, water and solid particulate from the air stream, rated at 0.1 µm. In service it sits as the first coalescing stage in the train. Taking that load out early keeps the finer stage behind it working to its rated life.
