The GDF1833XO is the Ultramax Systems replacement element for the Gardner Denver GDE GDF IR 2424 range. It is a Grade XO general purpose coalescing element and removes oil aerosol, water and solid particulate from the air stream, rated at 0.1 µm. In service it sits as the first coalescing stage in the train. Taking that load out early keeps the finer stage behind it working to its rated life. It matches the original on dimensional fit and drops into the existing housing without modification. It is the element used in GDF1833FD housings.
