The element is a Grade YO high efficiency oil removal coalescing element, and strips fine oil aerosol and water carryover, rated at 0.001 µm. The element belongs downstream of a general purpose coalescing stage. Air leaving this stage is clean enough for instrument work and for a carbon tower to polish. It matches the original on dimensional fit and drops into the existing housing without modification. Housings in the GNY-034-AX family take this element.
