Designed to fit the Ingersoll Rand IR F Series 242 line, Grade A is the activated-carbon adsorber in a typical compressed-air filtration train, rated to 0.01 micron — its role is to remove residual oil vapour and hydrocarbon odour after coalescing stages, polishing the compressed air for sensitive end uses. The Ultramax Systems Grade A element is built to match the Ingersoll Rand OEM specification on dimensional fit and filtration outcome, so it slots straight into the genuine Ingersoll Rand housing with no modification.
