Description
This mechanical drain is built for drain points where condensate carries oil, sludge or scale that can block smaller drains. A float-operated mechanism opens a large-bore valve to discharge condensate automatically, and the heavy-duty valve plate and all-metal construction suit demanding compressor room conditions. No power supply or timer is needed. The drain is rated from 3 to 16 bar, has a 1/2" inlet and an 8 mm outlet, and includes an adjustable flow valve so discharge can be increased for heavy loads or briefly opened to flush debris. The internal strainer can be removed for cleaning.
