Once positioned over the hose and fitting, the two ears are pinched closed with a standard hose-clamp tool. That single action draws the band tight around the hose outer wall, locking it onto the barb or stepped spigot for a connection that holds steadily at working pressure. It suits rubber, PVC and reinforced industrial hose grades used across compressed-air, pneumatic and general workshop installations.
