Ultramax Systems supplies the HKN-EB185P as a direct replacement within the Kaeser F Series range. The element is a Grade P general purpose particulate element, and holds bulk solid debris, pipe scale and rust, rated at 3 µm. In service it sits at the front of the train, protecting the finer stages behind it. It is the cheapest protection in the train and the first to earn its keep. Dimensions follow the original, so it installs into the existing housing without modification. Housings in the HF9-52-80 family take this element.
