Within the IR F Series 242 range, the IR24242208X is the Ultramax Systems replacement element. As a Grade X general purpose coalescing element it removes oil aerosol, water and solid particulate from the air stream, rated at 1 µm. It sits as the first coalescing stage, ahead of a dryer or a carbon tower. Taking that load out early keeps the finer stage behind it working to its rated life. The element is built to the original dimensions and needs no modification to the housing. It is the element used in FA400 IG housings.
