The IR24242588X covers the IR F Series 242 range in the Ultramax Systems alternative line. As a Grade X general purpose coalescing element it removes oil aerosol, water and solid particulate from the air stream, rated at 1 µm. In service it sits as the first coalescing stage, ahead of a dryer or a carbon tower. Clearing this load first protects the dryer or carbon stage that follows. It matches the original on dimensional fit and drops into the existing housing without modification. FA2700 IG housings accept this element.
