The IR36Y covers the IR DH range in the Ultramax Systems alternative line. The element is a Grade Y high efficiency oil removal coalescing element, and strips the fine oil aerosol and water carryover a general purpose stage leaves behind, rated at 0.01 µm. It sits directly downstream of a Grade X stage. This is the stage that decides how much oil reaches the point of use. It matches the original on dimensional fit and drops into the existing housing without modification. Housings in the IR-AA36 family take this element. Held in Australian stock, it is supplied at a working budget price rather than OEM list.
