The KSIGT8501MFEX covers the KSI G2 range in the Ultramax Systems alternative line. The element is a Grade X general purpose coalescing element, and removes oil aerosol, water and solid particulate from the air stream, rated at 1 µm. It sits as the first coalescing stage, ahead of a dryer or a carbon tower. Removing the bulk of the liquid here is what lets the downstream element do its job. The element is built to the original dimensions and needs no modification to the housing. It is the element used in GTF140 housings.
