It is a Grade Y high efficiency oil removal coalescing element and strips the fine oil aerosol and water carryover a general purpose stage leaves behind, rated at 0.01 µm. It sits directly downstream of a Grade X stage. It carries the fine load a general purpose element is not built to hold. It matches the original on dimensional fit and drops into the existing housing without modification. Housings in the LYAF-D150AX family take this element.
