It is a Grade YSR replacement filter element and holds the contamination its housing is placed to catch, rated at 0.01 µm. In service it sits in the position the original element occupied. It carries the fine load a general purpose element is not built to hold. Dimensions follow the original, so it installs into the existing housing without modification.
