The element is a Grade YO high efficiency oil removal coalescing element, and strips fine oil aerosol and water carryover, rated at 0.1 µm. In service it sits downstream of a general purpose coalescing stage. Air leaving this stage is clean enough for instrument work and for a carbon tower to polish.
