The M48HC covers the Mikropor G range in the Ultramax Systems alternative line. As a Grade HC hopcalite element it converts carbon monoxide to carbon dioxide across a catalytic bed. The element belongs in a breathing air train, downstream of the coalescing and carbon stages. Carbon monoxide is the one contaminant a breathing air train cannot afford to pass. The element is built to the original dimensions and needs no modification to the housing. G48HC housings accept this element.
