As a Grade Y high efficiency oil removal coalescing element it strips the fine oil aerosol and water carryover a general purpose stage leaves behind, rated at 0.01 µm. The element belongs directly downstream of a Grade X stage. This is the stage that decides how much oil reaches the point of use. Dimensions follow the original, so it installs into the existing housing without modification. P3TFA22CAAN housings accept this element.
