Ultramax Systems supplies the OMAF40X as a direct replacement within the OMI - ALPS Series range. The element is a Grade X general purpose coalescing element, and removes oil aerosol, water and solid particulate from the air stream, rated at 1 µm. In service it sits as the first coalescing stage, ahead of a dryer or a carbon tower. Clearing this load first protects the dryer or carbon stage that follows. Dimensions follow the original, so it installs into the existing housing without modification. Housings in the AF40QF family take this element. Held in Australian stock, it is supplied at a working budget price rather than OEM list.
