The SAS178Y is the Ultramax Systems replacement element for the Schneider Air Systems range. As a Grade Y high efficiency oil removal coalescing element it strips the fine oil aerosol and water carryover a general purpose stage leaves behind, rated at 0.01 µm. The element belongs directly downstream of a Grade X stage. This is the stage that decides how much oil reaches the point of use. The element is built to the original dimensions and needs no modification to the housing. Housings in the FC 178 (G1") - SC family take this element.
