Ultramax Systems supplies the SAS42Y as a direct replacement within the Schneider Air Systems range. The element is a Grade Y high efficiency oil removal coalescing element, and strips the fine oil aerosol and water carryover a general purpose stage leaves behind, rated at 0.01 µm. In service it sits directly downstream of a Grade X stage. Air leaving this stage is clean enough for instrument work and for a carbon tower to polish. The element is built to the original dimensions and needs no modification to the housing. FC 42 (G1/4") - SC housings accept this element. Held in Australian stock, it is supplied at a working budget price rather than OEM list.
