Ultramax Systems supplies the SMCAFW450P as a direct replacement within the SMC AFW (WFH) range. It is a Grade P general purpose particulate element and holds bulk solid debris, pipe scale and rust, rated at 5 µm. In service it sits at the front of the train, protecting the finer stages behind it. Solids stopped at this point never reach the finer elements behind it. Dimensions follow the original, so it installs into the existing housing without modification. AFW450-N20DG-E5 housings accept this element. Held in Australian stock, it is supplied at a working budget price rather than OEM list.
