Description
The Steam Series Exhaust Muffler with Relief Valve NPT is a steam duty exhaust muffler with an aluminium body and a 3" NPT connection. Ultramax Systems supplies it built for higher temperature steam and hot air exhaust, where standard mufflers are not suited to the temperature. The muffler fits onto the exhaust point and disperses discharging steam and hot air through a 360 degree pattern, cutting exhaust noise by up to 85 percent while keeping back pressure low. A built in relief valve keeps exhaust flow steady if the element begins to clog, holding valve cycle times. Fitting it at steam and hot process exhaust points lowers workplace noise and helps keep the surrounding area safer and quieter. The NPT thread suits equipment built to North American standards.
