It is a Grade P25 general purpose particulate element and holds bulk solid debris and pipe scale, rated at 25 µm. It sits as the first line of protection in the train. Solids stopped at this point never reach the finer elements behind it. It matches the original on dimensional fit and drops into the existing housing without modification. AG0012-PE25 housings accept this element. It is held in Australian stock and priced to work against the cost of going direct to the OEM.
