The element belongs in a breathing air train, downstream of the coalescing and carbon stages. Carbon monoxide is the one contaminant a breathing air train cannot afford to pass. It matches the original on dimensional fit and drops into the existing housing without modification. AG0027 OX2-HC housings accept this element.
