As a Grade A activated carbon element it adsorbs the oil vapour and hydrocarbon odour that liquid coalescers cannot hold, rated at 0.01 µm. It sits as the final stage before air reaches product, packaging or people. It handles the contamination a coalescer passes straight through. The element is built to the original dimensions and needs no modification to the housing. It is the element used in CHP 047 housings.
