Ultramax Systems supplies the WHLE5-48Y as a direct replacement within the Hualing XF range. The element is a Grade Y high efficiency oil removal coalescing element, and strips the fine oil aerosol and water carryover a general purpose stage leaves behind, rated at 0.01 µm. In service it sits directly downstream of a Grade X stage. This is the stage that decides how much oil reaches the point of use. Dimensions follow the original, so it installs into the existing housing without modification. Housings in the UPF5-0048 family take this element.
