Ultramax Systems supplies the WK551Y as a direct replacement within the Wilkerson Elements range. As a Grade Y high efficiency oil removal coalescing element it strips the fine oil aerosol and water carryover a general purpose stage leaves behind, rated at 0.01 µm. It sits directly downstream of a Grade X stage. Air leaving this stage is clean enough for instrument work and for a carbon tower to polish. Dimensions follow the original, so it installs into the existing housing without modification. It is the element used in M21 housings. It is held in Australian stock and priced to work against the cost of going direct to the OEM.
