Ultramax Systems supplies the AC055Y as a direct replacement within the Atlas Copco X Filters range. The element is a Grade Y high efficiency oil removal coalescing element, and strips the fine oil aerosol and water carryover a general purpose stage leaves behind. It sits directly downstream of a Grade X stage. This is the stage that decides how much oil reaches the point of use. Dimensions follow the original, so it installs into the existing housing without modification. PDx55 housings accept this element.
